First fill out an order.

Once you have submitted your order form, I will be in contact via email to confirm your order and send pricing, payment, & pick-up instructions. Order forms are typically processed on Mondays and Tuesdays of each week. I appreciate your patience as it may take some time to get back to you pending cake schedule of the week, as I run this bakery solo! 

The bakery books on a month-to-month basis and order forms open the first Sunday of the month. For example, May custom orders would open the first Sunday of April, and so on. The current calendar showcases current availability.  If the date you desire is no longer available on the calendar, that means the bakery is fully booked, closed for that date, or the calendar is not yet open (booking occurs month to month). If needing a cake for a date unavailable (or if the desired date is full) consider snagging the cake early! I require at least 7 days advance notice for custom cake orders.

If not planning to consume right after pick-up, place in the fridge until about an hour or two before planning to consume. Cakes serve best at room temperature. Be aware that some fillings may begin to bulge if left at room temperature for too long. Keep cake out of direct sunlight and heat, as butter and the sun are not besties. All cakes come with a care card, so be sure to refer to it for best handling practices. 

Cakes are good in the fridge for up to 5 days, and can be frozen for up to 2 weeks, uncut. Once cut, place a piece of parchment over the cut side, and refridgerate in an airtight container for maximum freshness & minimal moisture loss. If planning to freeze, please be sure to let Mads know. 

If able to, I always love to try and fit a cake in! I require at least 7 days advance notice for custom cake orders. If needed sooner than the 7-day recommended window - contact me via email first as I may be able to accommodate for a rush fee ($30+).

Cakes are available for pick-up in West End neighborhood of Nashville, TN. Pick-up preferred - exact location shared at time of deposit. Local Nashville delivery sometimes available, but not guaranteed.

Delivery is sometimes available for an additional fee of $25+ pending distance and cake schedule of the week. Pick-up is preferred, and exact pick-up address is shared at time of deposit. If wanting to inquire about delivery, make a note in the order form.

Gluten-free, dairy-free, & vegan cakes are indeed available! It is the clients responsibility to inform me of any and all food allergies or intolerances when ordering. While I do my best to be cautious of allergens, cross-contamination is possible as the kitchen is not allergen-free certified. By submitting your order form, you accept liability. If allergy is severe, I would likely recommend ordering from an allergen-free certified bakery.

To lock in your date & order, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit via Venmo/Zelle within 48 hours of quote. If I do not hear back from you within that time frame, next orders will be moved on to & I will unfortunately have to delete your inquiry form. Your cake & date is not confirmed until deposit is made! Final cake payment due week of pick-up. Refunds on deposit are available 3 weeks prior to the confirmed cake pick-up date. As this is a small custom cake bakery, I can only accomodate a certain number of cakes each week, so each order gets the special care and attention it deserves. If wanting to make any adjustments to your cake flavor/style/etc. you need to share this information with Mads via email before week of pick-up, as adjustments cannot be made week of pick-up. 

Mads Eatz is a licensed cottage bakery that operates as a production & pick-up location in the West End area of Nashville, TN. We do not currently have walk-up pastry or cake pick-up available, but do run holiday pre-orders/pop-ups/flash sales on occasion, so keep an eye out on socials for those announcements! 

Booking further than a month out is available via our wedding and special event package! Refer to the wedding tab on the website for inspiration and to fill out an inquiry form.
